BetTrader Pro v4 .

The new updated version 4 of this professional trading package looks and performs great. This software has lots of flashing lights, bells and whistles! As with most software, it looks a little confusing when you first start it up but luckily the guys at RacingTraders have produced a series of videos - presented in a relaxed style which are great for introducing you to the various features. The videos are comprehensive and easy to follow.

Some of the features - such as drip feed - are there to aid the trader and save you time, whilst the flashing colours all over the screen when a race is getting close to the off introduces some excitement and let's you know that things are beginning to happen! This software is also graced with the popular 'hedgeing' or greening button which will work using the less than £2 stakes if required! Very handy for beginners. And the bookmaking function is simple and easy to use with manual adjustment of the required prices if necessary.

With two interfaces available; Grid - which is similar to the Betfair web interface and Ladder - which is a ladder interface, most traders will soon feel at home. The ladder makes trading simple and is handy for indicating how things are panning out during a race. Both interfaces show the last traded price by flashing the price using traffic light colours familiar to traders - Green - price is greater than last traded price; Yellow - price is same as last traded price and Red - price is lower than last traded price.

Version 4 also feature direct links to the Betfair form guide and Betfair radio for those who use these services from Betfair

The pricing structure for continued takes a bit of getting used to but you can buy unlimited minutes by the month or year. Worth a look with the free 200 minutes to get you started. Also new in version 4 is the FREE use of the grid screen which does not eat into your minutes.
